LOL I was gonna say "batten down the hatches" earlier, but I didn't know how to spell "batten". That's one of those words you go through life saying, but never have the occasion to spell it.... until now anyway.

So Steve, if they are not sure how the expolsions happened, is it safe for you guys to be down there? Just a little crazy timing with the GM layoffs and everything.

Heard there is going to be some talk on ball parks for the little guys tomorrow at the SF TC meeting. If you guys know anyone involved in SRA tell the to show their support tomorrow night. I think the coaches were to tell the parents about it tonight at the games, but due to the weather all games were rained out, so I am not sure if the word got around.
My littlest Lacka is playing this year games starting at 7:45 lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes, that is 9:00 before the game is over, we get home about 9:30 and it takes at least 30 minutes to wind down. Normal bed time here is 8:30. Biggest Lacka played until two years ago, he was 13. Games started at 8:45, can't remember how long that league's games lasted, but we were home after 10:15. We are talking school nights here. We do need more ballfields, AND PARKING. Any help here is appreciated. If you know someone spread the word.

Yes, it is safe. The GM layoffs and this event have nothing to do with each other.
If a fireworks house blows up, people don't quit making firecrackers, you just have to get smarter about how to handle them, and ensure proper failsafes are in place to prevent a recurrence. So you put double, triple, quadruple mistakeproofing in, and train the heck out of your workforce. Make sure only rigorously trained & qualified people are handling the stuff. And you never never never take a shortcut with safety.
Having said this......don't forget to WEAR THOSE SEATBELTS !!!!!!!!! buckle those kids up, and make sure those child seats are strapped in properly.

Steve watch out for fireworks that are laying around that are still active. Thanks for the pic. And also watch out for falling ceiling tiles. Its amazing that no one was hurt, must have had some warning......Do you need Bama to direct traffic?.... Be careful and keep you eyes OPEN....

Mornin' y'all!
Mischief do keep a body busy! Pappy ain't hardly had time to read, much less post. Crackah, Macca an' Lacka, glad to see y'all out an' about!
Glad to see Steve's bunch is able to start diggin' out. Hang in there, buddy!
Congratulations to Patti on her 100th! Keep tryin', you'll git the hang of that writin' thang! Hee hee!
Mike, just keep a low profile when that wind blows. Pappy's original high wind strategy was to keep all my lottery winnin's in my pocket to hold me down. So far, a belly full o' biscuits works better. Hee hee! Uh, low-fat, diet biscuits, that is.

Dear Bama,
Since it has gotten to warm for leather, what will your imaginary self be wearing at the TC meeting tonight.
Sincerely,
Cracker and Lacka
