That might have been your mama's baby sitter jumpin' on the couch, Crackah.

The first episode aired in 1968 back when real men wore suits and drove cars with massive V-8s. McGarrett hisself drove a black Mercury Marauder, suitably manly, on which the fuel gauge prob'ly jumped back a notch when McGarrett planted his manly wingtip square on the gas pedal!

Young Pappy's favorite character was Zulu as Kono. I wanted a cool name like Zulu.

Again, those memories.... I wasn't thinking when I posted before, but my MOM loved McGarrett! (I guess I went with the Grandma tangent instead of the 5-0!) 1968? Oh, Pappy! "Back in the day" as they say... "Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then" as Seeger said....♥♥♥

You home from "Burrito-ville" yet Steve???

No, unfortunately not.

Yesterday in Reynosa MX & McAllen TX in 80F with windows down getting a farmers tan.

Today in Detroit area, 28F and snowing.  Glad I brought my Columbia ski jacket along, although it felt strange carrying it in MX

And now I gotta read what you guys are posting about what a nice day it is back in S'field................

I can't believe you remembered it aired on Wednesday nights...

'bout the only thing I remember about that show was my baby sitter jumping on the couch dancin' to the theme song every week. Oh wait... I'm 29.  I supposedly wasn't born when that show aired!

Maybe my mama just told me about my babysitter jumping on the couch!  :D

STEVE!!!!!!!!

WE HAVE A FLAME THROWER ON MAAN!!!!!!!!

I believe StewartM just broke the new NWO rule about flaming!!!!!!!!!!!

Nevermind.  I'll just handle this since you are traveling......

Dear Mr. StewartM,

In case you are unaware, the staff at the NWO has recently implemented policies that can be accessed in the NWOMywowbb.php USER MANUAL Section 4.2. These policies clearly state that no one is allowed to FLAME the CRACKAH!!! For more information on unauthorized flaming and the results thereof,  please refer to section 9.8.4.6.3.45.7B which can be located in section 4.2 of your NWOMywowbb.php manual.

Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

Mom

Crackah Mike
