I admit, I am a Little-ite. Osculate is one of my favorite words that we've had so far. I also like deleterious...^^;;

Yeah Crackah, the porn is bad it looks like that posting that Kris did a few pages back you know of the "eyes".
the there is a little tattoo of a rose or something plastered right on the lower side of the scleras. TMI for me and the little Lackas.

Crackah, I think you could make a really good CC sentence with deleterious. OK I had to look it up, but I really think you can work with it.

OK This is embarrassing, I didn't call the manager, but I called the owner. 19 thousand times, OK well not that many, but a lot. I finally had to say that I had a positive comment to make about the store and that was the only way that I got thru to him.
I went into the store and pulled the Macca PI deal and wrote my notes of the magazine titles on the back of my checkbook. Well I am sure that Macca PI would have a better way of doing it, but that was all I had to work with.
So I call this guy, well he wasn't really a guy, he was a jerk. I tell him that I would love to patronize his store, but being a single mom (of two little Lackas at that time) that I didn't feel comfortable with them being able to see the porn where the lifesavers should be. The conversation started out really light, I was very nice. Mom says that saying about catching bees with honey, or whatever it is. So I tried it.
Basically he told me that there was nothing that I could do, that his store did not even fall under the jurisdiction of the Town Council, and that they could not do anything about what he had in his store. I pleaded to him to not put the magazines at the children's eye level, but got nowhere. When he told me that there was nothing that anyone could do to me, Well ya'll know me, I made it a personal goal.
I am thinking at this point. Talk to the PTA they care about the kids, get a couple of the big Summerfield churches involved, and get the darn things moved out. Didn't tell him that was what I was thinking cause at this point he is focused on me being a single mom and is trying to hit on me. Grossed me out. The guy is pond scum. Well at this point the X husband did something really stupid, involving the kids, and I got distracted and never followed thru. Steve has reminded me lately that we cannot sit by while something happens that we do not like. Anybody other than Crackah ever noticed the porn in the store on 220? CVS and Food Dog are next, they are not any better.

Lacka, OK this is weird but I'm going to say something actually serious and un-lighthearted on MAAN 
I know ya'll don't have tons of shopping options in Summerfield but I say just don't shop these places that have offensive material. I have a long list of places that I will not shop in Greensboro for various reasons. I figure I'm hittin' em right where it counts - in the pocketbook. Now, a lot of these places (big chain stores) don't give a flying flip that I won't come in their store but I feel better about it at least. I am very guarded about who I give my money to.
And, never buy anything unless it's on sale  And use a coupon
