I received this as a very cute e-mail, complete with nice graphics (that unfortunately aren't showing here): I will dedicate this to Kris (and Bama now):

MY PHILOSOPHY OF HOUSECLEANING!

I don't do windows because ...

    I love birds and don't want one to run into a clean window and get hurt.

I don't wax floors because ...

    I am terrified a guest will slip and get hurt -- then I'll feel terrible ( plus they may sue me.)

I don't mind the dust bunnies because ...

    They are very good company, I have named most of them, and they agree with everything I say.

I don't disturb cobwebs because ...

    I want every creature to have a home of their own.

I don't Spring Clean because ...

    I love all the seasons and don't want the others to get jealous.

I don't pull weeds in the garden because ...

    I don't want to get in God's way, HE is an excellent designer!

I don't put things away because ...

    My husband will never be able to find them again.

I don't do gourmet meals when I entertain because ...

    I don't want my guests to stress out over what to make when they invite me over for dinner.

I don't iron because ...

    I choose to believe them when they say "Permanent Press".

I don't stress much on anything because ...

    "A Type" personalities die young and I want to stick around and become a wrinkled up crusty ol' woman!!!!

REMEMBER . . . . .

A CLEAN HOUSE IS A SIGN OF A BROKEN COMPUTER!!!

Lacka,
The "housekeeping philosophy"
(which I hope you enjoyed) reminded me of this post! I meant to ask you how many of these REALLY HAPPENED and WHERE IN THE WORLD your kids would've ever learned such tricks to play on their poor mama! Could it have been the other penguin in the picture?

Kris, I had to go back and look at it again.  The expression on her face, that is me, the look of

{when the kids hug you and tuck toilet paper in your back pocket, because they want you to look like a bride}

{when they say hey mom lets jump into the pool with our clothes on, mom jumps, and the kids don't}

I have had that look many times.  Kris Do we know each other?

Of course they all happened Macca.  Well some may have happened to other people, but it could have very well happened to me.

The toilet paper thing did happen, but it was to this girl that was having dinner at the Embassy Suites.  There must have been 25 or 30 foot behind her. She had to have caught a bit ofa draft, it was really long. I wanted to tell her as she paraded through the lobby, but how do you say anything {Excuse me, you evidently were not paying attention as you wiped your ....what, just what can you say} A hotel staff member quietly told her, she yanked it from the top of her mini skirt like she was ticked at him.  The staff member gathered it up in his hands (ooohhh gross) and disposed of it.  Don't you know where this stuff has been.  Had to have been a joke, cause shouldn't it have gotten caught in the door coming out of the bathroom or somethng?  Her face was way too red for her to have known this ahead of time.

The pool thing did happen, Pappy.  I was in Charleston and had just gotten married for the second time.  My smallest Lacka looked at me and said "hey mom wouldn't it be fun to go back to the hotel and jump into the pool with our getting married clothes on"  of course I told him NO, any mother would, cause that is just the way we are. We all had new clothes that we wore to the wedding and I was wearing a wedding dress, not a good idea little Lacka.  As we rode along I thought to myself, well why can't we? I am incharge, not wearing this dress again, and a little clorine never hurt anything.  So we get back to the hotel and lined up at the side of the pool and jumped right on in.  The two older Lackas would not jump (they are way too cool) but the rest of us did.  It was a blast.  Even have it on video.  Not sure if I want to swim in a full length gown ever again, but one time was fun.    Remember forum friends sometimes the little ones really know how to live, listen to them.

The rest of the things might have or might not have happened.  Who knows....
