Jimbo, this evening, I made the trip up to see your lights.

Absolutely beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!

I sat in your driveway for quite awhile just looking

No question you have given back to the community with the tremendous amount of work & beauty you have put into your display.

Anyone who has not driven up to Jim's place is missing out on something special.........it's worth the trip.

Awesome job Jim, Thanks !!

Steve, Thanks for your kind and generous comments.

I am especially glad that you were able to enjoy my small tribute in honor of the greater gift to mankind, the glorious birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Oh, yeah, Jimbo! The macca family rode around looking at lights a little Thursday night and noticed that you keep updating yours! Now you've got the blinking trees! Woo hoo!!!

Also noticed that Fox8 gave an updated shot of your home a spot on the news!♥♥♥

If you've seen the lighted balls on Faye Dr., then you'd have to see the explosion of lighted balls on Madison Avenue/Greenway off Friendly Avenue. I was lucky enough to find this by accident and it's amazing.

My daughter said the same thing, April. Someone told her about these lights, and she went by to see them when she was shopping over at Friendly Center.

Jim's lights were fantastic. I also went by to see some of the others you guys took the time to post here.

Thanks to those of you who contributed to the ongoing list. We were going to print it in the paper, but with all the news in the area, we ran slap out of space. I did post the list on our Web site a couple of times before Christmas and kept updating it.

Steve-O: You mean I HAVE to CUT my LIGHTS off already?

Are you sure your last name isn't Scrooge?

OK, Jimbo, since you lodged a complaint, Monty has reconsidered.

Please advise how long you would like this topic to remain, and your request shall be honored.

Well, as they say, all good things must come to an end.

Macca, I had the lights out on New Year's Eve since it was raining outside, and I never cut them on in rainy weather due to the threat of electrical shock. In the past, when I have tried cutting them on while raining, I either got slightly shocked or the circuit breakers will kick in and cut the power to the circuits. Generally I do burn them through New Year's Eve.

Stay tuned for next year's display though. The Best is yet to come! I found lots of really nice sales on Christmas lights, both before and after Christmas, so there will be a lot more to see in 2007, including a lighted drive around.
