I know the feeling Steve-o, Just got back from being in Indianapolis this morning at 3:30...still looking for my luggage....was suppose to land in Greensboro at 9:00 last night, instead I ended up in Raleigh..no rental cars..its a long walk
yep Mike........would have been more fun sitting around eating bacon all night.
My luggage finally got here noon today, it apparently was left out in the rain all night in Atlanta.........everything in my bag (and the bag too) was sloppin' wet. I'm staying for a wedding this weekend, my suit and the wedding present were soaked too. Got all my clothes spread out over my hotel room trying to dry them out, will have to send them out to laundry & press to use them. What a mess !!! Dern Delta airlines deserves to be bankrupt doin' stuff like this to people.
Last night as I was waiting (past midnight), delta had criss crossed two planes luggage. People waiting around turnstyle, the whole thing filled up, nobody taking anything. Got to witness a whole plane full of angry travellers descending on two poor delta gate agents at the same time.
In case I haven't said it before (few hundred times), air travel stinks. I swear I wish USA would wise up to mass transit like Japan has. Cheap, on time, fewer cars, and predictable.

This post has nothing to do with anything, but I just got officially logged in, and I wanted to make sure everything works! I'm sure I'll be online for the Town Talk Forum beginning Oct. 20--just wanted to try a test run!

WELCOME Susan!!!!
Glad you've joined us on the forum!!! Also real glad you found MAAN! We aren't too serious on this particular thread but we'll all comb our hair and put on our business attire when we see you on the candidate's forum.
Meanwhile, stop on in to drop a random thought here any old time!!! We'll try to steer clear of politics over here! We just have fun on MAAN!
BTW... I met you once and liked what you had to say. I was the one with the bag over my head.

Mornin', Crackah.
Mornin', Mr Jim. Was it foggy this mornin'? Looked 'bout normal to me.
Just go upwind of the Bohemian coffee an' bacon biscuit aroma.
This here weather puts ol' Pappy in a bit of a Holiday spirit.

Well my luggage showed up at 7:00 last night, had to go get it. Steve I flew with United they didn't wash my clothes like Delta did yours....Didn't know that was part of their service.......maybe they will buy a dryer....

The chicken speaks:
'Ere one gets into the Holiday spirit,
Must first get some spirits into one.

Further wisdom from the chicken:
'Ere one gets into the Holiday spirit,
Must first get some spirits into one.
Thus when the chicken speaks one hears it,
And shopping with Mammy is easier done.
