WHEW! Safari was wonderful, but there's no place like home....

I learned a lot and had some interesting encounters while I was away....

Had a run in with a "Python" on the way home.  eek!

Friends who went with me actually tangled with a croc!

Saw a tiger habitat but they were takin' a break from the sun and we didn't see them.

Had a wonderful time!  Missed you all but you handled things quite nicely without me!

Yo, Crackah! Back from Safari, eh?
I wisht I could find a croc. Mammy's been needin' her some new shoes. If'n you've never seen Mammy dive in a swamp with a Bowie knife twixt her teeth after croc meat, you don't know the meanin' o' poetry in motion! Hee hee!

Interesting fact I found today.....

Of all the words in the English language, the word "set" has the most definitions.

Hey Macca!  I see you!  Why are you being so quiet today???

I see Pappy too but I know he's hanging out in the hammock cause he's not wantin' to hit that 1000 mark......

I think he's afraid hittin' a "GRAND slam"  would put him in the category with you and me.... You know, people who have a forum addiction problem.....

Just do it Pappy....  It's easy...  Starts like this...

"My name is Pappy and I have a problem"  ;)

1000?! How'd that happen?
Pappy's gonna use the opportunity fer some overdo thanks an' praise.
(Y'all done put up with 999 o' these thangs, what's one more?!)

Pappy would like to dedicate number 1000 to Mammy an' the young'uns,
without whom there'd be no Pappy, just a crazy ol' coot.

I got the better end o' that bargain!

(No, Mammy, I ain't on the forum, uh, I'm payin' bills online!)

Also to all my forum pals who have had to put up with my occasional
(that's how I spell "frequent") inane an' insane ramblin's.
Y'all enrich, inspire an' educate ol' Pappy.
I got the better end o' that bargain, too.

A big ol' sincere "YEE HAW!" to all the volunteers, town employees an' council members
who work so hard to he'p make this whole area such a great place to live!

A hearty "much obliged" to the NWO folks who put out such a fine paper,
a fine forum, an' a fine website! Always lookin' forward to it!

Y buena suerte a los inmigrantes! Hay culpa en ambos lados de la frontera.
Pappy sabe que eres gente, también.
