Macca, let's blame that whippersnapper reference on FatPappy - sounds like something shem would say. We've been hangin' out here too much.

BTW, I almost called someone a "shem" in regular conversation the other day

Kris, Pappy knows what you mean with that almost callin' somebody a shem thing. Just like Neo goin' in an' out of the Matrix. "What is real?" asks Morpheus.

I wonder if we need to start a culture forum? Something like "Bullwinkle's Corner" where we could discuss literature, film, art, music. I don't know. We 'bout got enough to keep up with. On the other hand, Pappy wouldn't feel right talkin' bout "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" on MAAN.

Pappy, That sounds like a good idea! I LOVE "MAAN" but if we miss something, it is hard to find something/catch up .... If we had a site (thread?) devoted to "culture" that would be great, I think!

So far Pappy's got two votes in favor of Bullwinkle's Corner. I'd say that's a Top Vote Getter! Pappy'll fire it up here in a bit!

And if ya'll discuss Bullwinkle, I can probably join in, but if the Matrix or Star Trek come up, you may have discovered the secret to keeping me quiet!!!!

The Word of the Day for January 15 is:

sartorial   \sar-TOR-ee-ul\   adjective
: of or relating to a tailor or tailored clothes; broadly : of or relating to clothes

Crackah's example sentence:
"Far be it from me to criticize your sartorial choices macca," said Skiddles, laughing, "but do you really think that string-thingy goes with that tattoo?"

Pappy and Bubba....

I just ventured out into the Real world and I think it was in the Oak Ridge~ Progress forum that I saw a reference to the one and only Tattoo parlor in the Tri-town area.....

In case you're interested, it's in Stokesdale and it's called Fat Bubba's. Thought that was funny....

Bullwinkle's Corner is open fer bidness! Self service, no waitin', where ever'thing would be a bargain at half the price!

Of course it's in the Summerfield catagory, Crackah. You know Pappy has to burn his boots ever time he steps out in the real world.

Congratulations Zipppy!

Thanks fer the clean up, Kris.

"Fat Anybody's" Tatoo parlor....now that's culture!

As Jerry Clower would say, "HAW!"
