Kris.........yes, I definitely miss the band days, and was horribly disappointed when my kid decided to drop out, it was one of those cases where I was having more fun than she was.
Miss the students, parent, competitions, bus trips.......there is one thing I don't miss and you can guess what that is.......thankfully the band is now blessed with new talent from top to bottom.
