Wow, went out to dinner and missed it all.
My condolences, Thearon. I look forward to hearing more from you soon.

Mr Hooks,
Rather than remove or edit my previous posts, I will just take my embarrassment like a man and apologize for my premature statements. My prayers and sympathies go out to you and your family.
I'm sure you will straighten me out soon enough.

As I posted earlier, my reasons for the removal of my posts:
Since the Moderators of this Forum have allowed this entire thread (which I initiated) to be highjacked by those wishing to post off topic hogwash, I have elected to remove all of my posts herein.
Obviously, no one wants a discussion of the serious issues facing Stokesdale; including, quite obviously, the Forum Moderators.

Please keep in mind that I enjoy the Forum and will be back ASAP. Let this act as documentation that indeed my computer did not crash.

I left before John Flynt gave a closing speech regarding his dual residency. I just know that there were a lot of residents representing the Stokesdale football group. I am not sure of their exact title. Also, some Yankee lady spoke regarding the PO debacle. I think I may know her. She made some valid points LOL

Tweety, does that Yankee lady have dual residency?
Speaking of which, could someone live in Stokesdale and still be Mayor of New York City?

Why not? Obviously you can live in Arkansas or Washington DC and be a Senator from New York. What's the difference. Maybe a better question would be, if you live in Stokesdale, why would you WANT to be Mayor of New York?

Okay, put it this way: If you lived in NY, could you be mayor of Stokesdale?
I can say that Mrs. Clinton may be a senator representing the state of NY, but she is not actually ever in the state. She has been too busy gallivanting around gathering support.

Mike, I think the pay is a little better (than mayor of Stokesdale).

Never heard of a New York mayor complaining. Also, they're mayor 24/7.

Tweety, plus they give their Mayor free digs over at Gracie Mansion. Seems as if they may furnish a nice sleek limo too.
