we really should have planned an EASter egg hunt to be in the park this weekend. I am ashamed I didn't think of it earlier.

GREAT IDEA, Grits ...as you said, it's too late for this year, but let's put it on our calendar for next February so we can all start planning and publicizing it in the weeks leading up to Easter. I've made a note of it for 2008 ...

Why wait till next year? What about some kind of activity there in conjunction with Founder's Day? Scavenger hunt or something?

That would be fun! We could have clues scattered around to lead to the next object/clue.
I like the Easter egg hunt ideer too.

What about a weekly bacon biscuit hunt over at the park for adults only?

The Summerfield Fire Station has an Easter egg hunt for kids each year. I saw lots of children there on April 1, so I think it might have been held then. Still would be fun to have one in the park - there's no such thing as too many jellybeans! (or eggs)

Park Report:
Yesterday Afternoon shortly after 4 pm there were 13 people and one dog using the park.
Today at the same time, there were 8 people using the park.
(I keep forgetting to do this, so if you do a ride by, note the time and number of people and post it or call someone who can!)

Tuesday 04/17//07 at approximately 7pm there were at total of 11 people including all of my family. Would have brought the family pet--but couldn't find his lease.
